My particular specialties include Intimate Elopements, Non-Religious, Spiritual-But-Not-Religious, Offbeat, Romantic, Halloweeny, Witchy, Gothy, Geeky, Theme-Inspired, Celtic, Pagan, Heathen, and Wiccan ceremonies. I also offer non-legal commitment ceremonies (including handfastings) and vow renewals! All the ceremonies I craft are customized and personalized - based on the couple's preferences and ideas - and I love working with folks from the LGBTQ+ community.

As part of your ceremony, I can incorporate as many unity celebrations and rituals as you would like - there are so many possibilities! Some examples might include a handfasting, a sand ceremony, unity candles, a whiskey blending, jumping the broom, a quaich or loving cup, a unity painting, an oathing stone, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich ritual, or even a sword exchange. If you want to include something meaningful, but you're just not sure what you would like... I am always happy to make suggestions and help you get creative.

​​Hiring me as your officiant also gives you access to the insights I have gleaned from years of experience in wedding and event planning, as well as trip planning advice if you are coming to Salem for a destination wedding or elopement. Not only do you gain access to my "planning brain" - but I have also spent hours and hours creating curated lists of venues, vendors, and service providers that I can suggest for you. I can make recommendations for caterers, bartending services, florists, bakeries, photographers, videographers, DJs, lighting experts, event rentals, hair and makeup artists, and much more!

Officiation Services Include:

• Unlimited email communication throughout the pre-ceremony planning process

• Up to 3 scheduled online meetings or phone calls to ask and answer questions, brainstorm, get creative together, and discuss pertinent details

• Basic wedding and event planning consulting (as needed or requested by you)

• Professional recommendations from me (as needed or requested by you)

• Time spent writing your bespoke ceremony script (with input from you)

• Draft of your ceremony script emailed to you in advance, for you to review and provide any desired edits prior to the ceremony

• Officiating your ceremony

• Signing and dispatching your marriage license after the ceremony (as applicable)

Reservation and Fees:

Unlike other officiants who have complicated packages and confusing pricing structures that vary based on the type of ceremony, number of guests, a la carte "add-ons," and things like that - I choose to keep it simple and charge a flat fee for my services.

 

October dates are extremely popular, and usually reserved at least a year in advance. Only one couple per year has the chance to work with me on Halloween/Samhain... so those ceremonies are exceptionally meaningful and exclusive!

✨ January 1 - September 30 or November 1 - December 31: $600

✨ October Weekdays (Mondays-Thursdays): $800

✨ October Weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays): $1,000

✨ October 31 (Halloween/Samhain): $1,600

 

If I seem like the right fit for your ceremony and you want to make it "official" with me, a signed contract and a retainer deposit of 50% of my fee are required to reserve your date on my calendar and to secure my services and consulting assistance.

 

Although a date for your ceremony is required to book with me, a specific location or time is not necessary for me to prepare a contract – we can fill in those details later! The remaining 50% of my fee does not need to be paid until two weeks prior to your ceremony.

 

For ceremonies taking place within 50 miles of my office in Salem, I do not charge additional travel fees. For ceremonies taking place more than 50 miles away, an additional travel fee of $1 per mile will be charged. Ceremonies taking place more than 100 miles away may require an overnight stay and incur additional expenses, including lodging. 

 

If you would like me to attend an online ceremony rehearsal, an in-person ceremony rehearsal, or a venue/site tour, an additional fee of $200 will be charged. If your ceremony rehearsal or venue/site tour takes place more than 50 miles away from my office in Salem, an additional travel fee of $1 per mile will also be charged for each trip made.

Please note that all travel fees, rehearsal fees, and site/venue tour fees will be calculated, invoiced, and paid in full by the client in advance of any related travel or activity.

For payments, I accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express), ACH (eCheck), Apple Pay, or Google Pay, all processed through Stripe.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without further notice; however, if you have completed our booking process (retainer deposit sent and signed contract returned), we will honor the price at the time of booking. Dates are not guaranteed until we receive both a signed contract and a retainer deposit.
