Officiation Services ($400+)

The "Wedding Witch of Salem" is an ordained minister who officiates weddings and commitment ceremonies across Massachusetts.

My particular specialties include Elopements, Secular or Non-Religious, Non-Traditional Religious, Spiritual-But-Not-Religious, Romantic, Offbeat, Halloweeny, Witchy, Gothic, Geeky, Theme-Inspired, Celtic, Viking, Pagan, or Wiccan ceremonies. I also offer non-legal commitment ceremonies (like handfastings) and vow renewals!


As part of your ceremony, you can opt to incorporate as many unity rituals and celebrations as you would like. There are so many unique and meaningful options to choose from - some examples might include handfastings, sand ceremonies, unity candles, wine ceremonies, jumping the broom, or even a Viking sword exchange!


All the ceremonies I craft are customized and personalized for you, based on your preferences and ideas, and I happily embrace any opportunity to work with couples who consider themselves members of the LGBTQIA+ community.


​Hiring me as your officiant also comes with an extra added bonus - I can offer you some basic event planning assistance and trip planning advice if you are coming to Salem from out of state! Not only am I happy to try to answer any questions you might have along your planning journey, but I also maintain curated lists of venues and vendors that service the North Shore area – including caterers, bartending services, florists, bakeries, photographers, DJs, lighting experts, and more!– and can pull together lists of recommended options for you in any category you choose.

Services Always Include:

  • Unlimited email communication throughout the planning process

  • Up to 3 scheduled online meetings or phone calls to ask and answer questions, brainstorm, get creative together, and discuss any and all pertinent details

  • Some basic planning assistance and professional recommendations from me regarding ceremony locations, vendors, travel planning, etc. (as needed or requested by you)

  • Time spent writing your bespoke ceremony script (with input from you)

  • Draft of your ceremony script provided to you two weeks prior to the ceremony, for you to review and provide any desired edits

  • Officiating your ceremony

  • Filing the marriage license paperwork after the ceremony (as applicable)

Reservation and Pricing:

  • Unlike some officiants who have complicated packages and pricing structures that vary from couple to couple and from ceremony to ceremony, I choose to keep it simple and just charge a flat fee of $400 for any officiation service.

  • If you are looking to hold your wedding or commitment ceremony within 50 miles of Salem, I do not tack on any additional travel fees. However, if the location is more than 50 miles away, I do add on a $50 travel fee to cover my transportation costs. 

  • Additionally, if you would like for me to attend a rehearsal - schedule permitting - an additional fee of $150 will be added on to the total cost.

  • If I seem like the right fit for your wedding or commitment ceremony and you want to make it official with me, I require a short online contract and a retainer of 50% of the total cost to reserve your date on my calendar. A specific location or time for your ceremony does not need to be set in stone for you to book with me – those details can be filled in later!

  • The remaining 50% of the total cost does not need to be paid until 2 weeks before your ceremony date.

  • For payments, I accept Venmo or PayPal.

Reception Coordination ($1,500)

This is for couples who have their reception planning already handled… but would like someone to help manage those pesky last-minute details and oversee and execute everything on their special day.

If you need a day-of coordinator for your reception, I can come on board well before your event and set about making sure that everything has been planned to utter perfection. On your special day, I will be the first person to arrive onsite - and the last person to leave - and I will work my tail off to ensure that every aspect of your event goes off without a hitch. That way you and your guests have the freedom to kick up your heels and enjoy the day without any added stress! If you need a bad-a**, artistic, disgustingly organized, detail-oriented coordinator who can wrangle decor and vendors with the best of them, please contact me to discuss your needs!

Please note that this service should be booked at least 6 months in advance of your reception, and it does not automatically include ceremony officiation - but if you would also like me to perform your ceremony, we can add that on!


Additionally, please note that I do not offer this service for wedding receptions held in Salem during the month of October.
